Here, I have attempted to deconstruct the ever-recurring journey of creating new things in three steps, through fantastical self-portraits.
how do you create?
Contrary to popular thought, every creative project begins with a lack of creativity. I visualise them as little hurdles, blocking my free flow of thought.

And then, there is a glimpse of a shiny, sparkly idea.
Bright and fresh, like a lemon.
The kind that gives you an endorphin high;
a headrush, like when you'd stand up too soon;
the kinds that would make you want to scream, "Eureka!"

You'd think its a smooth sail, hereon.

But what is a story without a twist?
The calm only sets way for what is to come,
the storm.
​
The numerous iterations, the variety of possibilities contemplated over, the multiple ships loaded with ideas that sail or sink - they all form a part of this laborious, yet exuberant journey.
